In University Limelight Week (ULW) 4.0 this year, MDSA proudly featured inspirational and enthralling stories of dental students from all 13 dental schools in Malaysia with the theme “Restriction into Motivation”. In the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, we, as dental students, are facing a lot of new restrictions or difficulties in both our studies and daily lives. We hope to inspire everyone to keep ourselves active and motivated despite the unforeseen circumstances.

We worked with the university representatives and deans from 13 dental schools to select exceptional students to share their exciting stories and outstanding achievements to be published on MDSA’s official website and social media platform (Facebook and Instagram). This online event took place in the span of 3 months, starting from 16th March to 8th May 2021. The anecdotes of the shortlisted candidates will be published in the form of excerpts with a photo of the student attached.

ULW 4.0 received great responses and support from our students as we provided a platform for dental students to share their significant stories and in the meantime to showcase their broad spectrum of talents to guide fellow dental students along their dental journey.
