30. Life as a dental student is full with surprises. I can start off the day with a "morning shower" when the handpiece head malfunctioned while I'm still using it to perform procedures in patient's mouth and sprayed water all over my face (note-to-self,always use a face shield). Then we see patients with intense anxiety who freaks out even when we simply placed a strawberry flavored topical anesthetic on the intended area, and also patients who fall asleep with their mouth open and wake up with a jaw lock,unable to close their mouth and look at you helplessly with their mouth wide gaped open. Life as a dental student is definitely one exciting dental life!
