Dental Undergraduate Suvival Kit (DUSK) 4.0

Dental Undergraduate Survival Kit (DUSK) is the largest event wholly organized by MDSA.  In 2021, DUSK 4.0 was held virtually on 27th and 28th February 2021. This is to provide a greater platform to accommodate more enthusiastic young dentists and dental students across Malaysia, by organizing the event through an online platform-ZOOM. 

DUSK 4.0 was a two-day event, with the theme “En Route To Your Dental Career”. In these two days,  8 renowned dentists from different fields were invited  to share with us their working experiences and skills they are known for.

The topic ranges from working as a government dental officer vs private practitioner and different approaches when opening up a dental chain group such as solo practice vs partnership. There are also sharing sessions on being a lecturer, PS (Professional Service)/ Scientific Affairs and Education (SAE) Manager, key opinion leader (KOL) and social media influencer.

 This would allow the students and young graduates to have a sneak-peek into each field which will greatly help them to plan the path which suits them the best.
